Hello! My name is Nancy.

I’m a graduate student currently completing a masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I hold an undergraduate degree in Child and Youth Care Counselling and have been working in the mental health field since 2011. I have a long history of and interest in working with young people, their families, and cis and trans women. I am delighted to join the counselling team at Scott Sheere Wellness and am looking forward to meeting you!

I’m often described as warm, inviting and genuine. I’m committed to co-creating a safe space, inclusive of all persons, where we can explore your inner world and chat about your thoughts and experiences, openly. I hold space for clients with trauma-informed, humanistic approaches; you are more than the challenges you face and you’re not alone in moving through them. As an intern counsellor, I help you develop insight into irritating patterns that no longer serve you, build skills to manage big feelings, and encourage your inherent strength to take steps toward making the changes you want to see for yourself. I do this with a caring and compassionate approach that’s peppered with a light-hearted sense of humour.

While completing my practicum at Scott Sheere Wellness, I have availability in Vancouver for adults 19+ and in Port Moody for youths 14+, adults, and couples. I’m available online across the province. My practice will be directly supervised by Nina Sheere and Heather Scott.
